Congratulations to everyone for another two great victories this weekend! The girls certainly showed their grit and resiliency once again. Thank you to everyone who made the trip. The crowd was awesome! Now let’s do it again as The Road to State for the Highlanders continues on through Bowie by way of Mumford again:
Game 1 – Friday @ 4:30 at Mumford HS; We are the Home team on the 3rd base side
Game 2 – Friday 30 min. after Game 1 at Mumford HS; We are the Visitors on the 1st base side (yes, we are switching sides)
Game 3 – (if needed) Saturday @ 7:00 at Mumford HS; coin flip for home team
Thank you for all of the support and we are looking forward to seeing everyone in Mumford this weekend! I know that it’s early on Friday again as we’re playing 2. So, take a half-day, put on your red and green and hit the road to be in Mumford early and loud as you cheer on the Highlanders in their quest for the Sate Title! If you can’t make it out, remember that we’ll have the “Dad’s With Mics” broadcast team there that will keep you informed and laughing. You can pick them up on Twitter and follow the scoring on GameChanger. Here we go! Here we go! No Excuses!
Directions: Leave The Woodlands and take your favorite route to Hwy 6 whether that is Fish Creek Pkwy to 105 or 1488 to 1774 to 105. Turn Right on to Hwy 6 in Navasota. Exit Hwy 21 North of Bryan (2 exits past Briarcrest) and turn Left. Turn right on FM 50 (there is a flashing yellow light just past the Texas A&M Transportation Institute). You will travel on FM 50 for about 7 miles and the field will be on the right past the school, literally rising up out of the corn fields like in Field of Dreams. Let’s make it the Highlanders’ Field of Dreams for a State Title!
