Next up for the Highlanders and their quest to Earn It is JJ Pearce from Richardson. The teams will square off Saturday at 1:00 at Madisonville HS. This is a rematch from last year’s area round series but will be decided with only one game this time. Hopefully Mother Nature will cooperate and the rain will hold off. It’s a turf field, so we’ll be in as good of shape as we can be. Put on your red and green, gas up the car and head north to get there early (plan for a stop at Buc ees) to cheer loud for the Highlanders as they play to Earn It! Here we go! Here we go! ATTACK

The Highlanders will face off against the North Mesquite Stallions in the first round of their quest to Earn It! Game 1 will be Thursday night at 6:30 at the Mesquite Fastpitch Softball Complex (1717 McKenzie Rd., Mesquite, TX 75181). Game 2 will be at Highlander Field on Saturday at 1:00 with Game 3 to follow if needed. So, get your red and green ready, gas up the car and come out early to cheer on the Highlanders. The Highlander Softball Team wanted to let everyone know that the playoffs start next week! We don’t know when we’ll play or who our opponent is yet because that all depends on our game with Lufkin for the District Championship! It’s a winner take all affair here at Highlander Field starting at 6:30. It’s also Senior Night, so following the game we’ll be honoring Lindsey Fischkelta and Alayis Seneca. The weather should be beautiful, so come out early and catch the JV’s final game of the season at 4:30 and stay to cheer on the Varsity at 6:30 as they play to “Earn It” in a playoff atmosphere!

Mother Nature is at it again. With the threat of severe weather and rain Friday night, we have decided to move up the softball games with Conroe to Thursday evening. We will still play the JV at 4:30 followed by the Varsity at 6:30. We’ll see everyone up in Conroe early cheering loud and wearing their red and green as the girls play to Earn It! Here we go!
