Alayis Seneca was named the Houston Chronicle’s Girls Athlete of the Week!  She’s had an amazing last two weeks setting the table for the Highlanders in all of our victories.  At the Sienna Tournament, she was 14 for 20 with a walk, 7 runs scored, 4 RBIs and 6 stolen bases.  She’s had to be very versatile in the 2 spot of the lineup and has delivered.  Defensively, she’s solid in left field with a strong, aggressive and accurate arm that keeps runners at bay.  Alayis is really an all-around player.  It’s nice to see that she is being recognized for her hard work and dedication.
