The girls did an AMAZING job Saturday at the Jingle Bell Christmas Party.  CASA has come to rely on us for our donations and volunteers each year as the event has continued to grow.  The girls answered the call to help first by publicizing and running Bombfest, collecting over $1,500.  Then by their thoughtfulness in shopping on Thursday for the gifts which were the bulk of what was in the teen room and what went first.  Finally, by working the party on Saturday.  The girls did everything that was asked of them and more by looking for ways to help out during the set-up and take down and making the day special for the kids that came to the party.  We are so proud of them and will continue to make this event a priority in our program.

Coach Miller was able to secure an additional $1,000 from the 249 Walmart which brought the team’s contribution total contribution to over $2,500 for the kids of Montgomery County.  Below is an article that appeared in the Villager giving a shout-out to our team while describing the event and a couple of pics.
