After two days of abbreviated games, the Highlanders emerge unscathed.  They beat Leander 4-0 playing 5 hours after their scheduled start time.  They came back first thing Friday morning to beat Burleson 6-2 and Brazoswood 8-1 before tying Alvin 0-0 after 6 innings.  The rules of the tournament stated that a coin flip would decide who would advance in the tournament bracket and Coach Borths was victorious.  That leaves TWHS, Ridge Point, Keller and Cedar Ridge as the only remaining “undefeated” teams in the tournament and they will face off against one another with TWHS taking on Ridge Point (advanced on a coin flip as well after a 0-0 tie of their own) and Keller taking on Cedar Ridge at 10:00 at Veterans Park.  The winners will play at 4:00 and the losers will play at 2:00 at Bryan H.S. as long as the weather holds out.  If you can’t make it up to Bryan, follow the team on GameChanger or “2 Dads and a Mike” on Twitter @twhssoftball.  It’s time for the 2018 team to Earn It!  Here we go!  Here we go!
