The Woodlands pulled out a 10-7 win over Klein in 10 innings on Monday in District 15-6A play.

The Lady Highlanders (20-4, 12-1) led 7-0 in the fourth inning before the Lady Bearkats mounted a comeback and sent the game into extra innings. After two scoreless frames, The Woodlands finally broke the stalemate and plated three runs in the top of the 10th inning to claim the victory.

Skylar Stockton led the charge at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and five RBIs. Kayla Falterman went 4-for-6 with three runs scored, and Skylar Sirdashney was 3-for-5 with a double and two runs scored. Katie Emberton and Abbey Newlun each had a pair of hits.

Avery Taylor pitched 9 ⅔ innings for The Woodlands and finished with 12 strikeouts.

The Lady Highlanders return to action at 6:15 p.m. Friday at home against Conroe.
