The Woodlands earned a 5-3 road win over Klein Oak on Tuesday in District 15-6A action.
Pitcher Avery Taylor went all seven innings for the Lady Highlanders (18-4, 10-1), allowing eight hits and three earned runs. She finished the game with five strikeouts.
Haley Mountain had a double and drove in two runs at the plate. Kayla Falterman, Skylar Sirdashney and Skylar Stockton all drove in runs for the Lady Highlanders, and Abby Jones had two stolen bases.
The Woodlands returns to the field at 6:15 p.m. Friday at home against Klein Cain.
