The Woodlands beat Klein Cain 13-1 in five innings Tuesday night in District 15-6A play.
The Lady Highlanders (12-3, 3-0) had a balanced offensive effort, with nine players registering at least one hit. Kayla Falterman led the way from the leadoff spot with a 3-for-4 effort that included three runs scored and one driven in. Amanda Curran got the win in the circle. The Tennessee signee pitched five innings, struckout 12 and allowed one hit.
The Woodlands hosts Klein on Friday.
