The Woodlands beat College Park 12-2 in five innings Friday night in District 15-6A play.
The Lady Highlanders (17-4, 9-1) totaled 13 hits, led by Skylar Sirdashney’s 3-for-3 effort that included a triple. Carly Allen had one at-bat and was efficient with a solo home run. Skylar Stockton was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored.
Avery Taylor allowed five hits and earned two runs in the circle for The Woodlands. She struck out six and walked one.
Alexis Lara led the Lady Cavaliers (7-15, 4-6) with her 3-for-3, two RBI day from the leadoff spot.
The Woodlands is at Klein Oak on Tuesday, while College Park hosts Klein Collins.
